While this isn't exactly an admission of AA proportions, my love of film certainly feels at times like a debilitating addiction, verging dangerously on the obsessive.
Being able to write about films is a release; if I didn't write about them, I'd probably bore all my friends to madness talking incessantly about the body language in Before Sunrise/Sunset or the genius of Cary Grant (I still do this. A lot.)
